How is my Freestyle spa insulated? |
Freestyle Spas uses a five-step barrier process to fully insulate all of its hot tubs. First, the bottom of each spa shell is blanketed with a thick layer of solid-cell, high-density insulating foam. Second, a thick ABS base is added to the base of the spa, forming a floor and completing enclosing the spa shell. Third, an inside layer of insulation is wrapped completely around the cabinet of the spa. Fourth, a second "outside" layer of insulation is wrapped completely around the cabinet of the spa. Fifth, a 5-inch thick tapered cover is included to prevent heat escaping from the surface of the water.

In order to ensure that water can pass freely through your filter, remove the filter and run it under water using a pressure nozzle. The water removes debris from between the paper folds. Freestyle Spas filters also can be used in the top rack of dishwashers, with the heated drying feature turned off. Filters should be replaced every 6 months.
